Rebeccca will always have a special place in my heart - not because she was my first "unknown" client (we didn't know each other before she hired me as her wedding planner) but because she couldn't be any sweeter or kinder if she tried. She reached out to me after buying some decor from my sister's wedding from my mom, who insisted that she at least reach out to me once she realized she needed a coordinator, and I'm so glad she did!

She poured her heart out to me as we met at a Starbucks one August afternoon, and I instantly loved how thoughtful and relaxed she wanted everything to be. She was never concerned with having a huge party with a giant cake and elaborate flower arrangements - she wanted things to be simple and them. She wanted her family to feel comfortable and included. She wanted special moments with her dad and pictures on the beach, and for everyone to have a good time. The rest didn't matter. A girl after my own heart!

We started planning and coordinating the little details as everything came together, and I truly love how simple everything was for them - not fussy, not elaborate, but a happy, joyous, family occasion. It was them! And you could feel it - anything more formal or more involved wouldn't have felt right, and wouldn't have been right. There are so many weddings these days that get so big that you forget the reason you're getting married at all, and it made me so happy to know that even though there were a few hiccups, it didn't distract Rebecca or Tim from the real purpose of the day.

They were married at the beach in Sandbridge, and though the weather didn't cooperate with us, it was still a gorgeous event full of love. Enjoy these favorites of mine from their day!
